‘La Aventura de Argentina’ begins in Buenos Aires, the vast, bustling capital known as the ‘Paris of the South’. Here you can sit in the cafes of Recoleta sipping delicious coffee and watching the beautiful people walk by. Then at night witness the locals dance the tango in the bars of San Telmo. Tango embraces the beauty, passion and pain the Argentines have experienced many times in the last 300 years.
Travelling south you will enjoy the warm hospitality and rural charm of Hosteria Ave Maria, close to the delightful rural town of Tandil. Here you will explore the countryside and visit some wonderful private estancias before briefly stopping over in BA and continuing to San Martin de los Andes for a 3 night stay at Estancia Tipiluke. Located in the foothills of the Andes, experience Tipiluke’s working cattle estancia and the gaucho culture of the area.
Finally, travel across the Andes by road through the Chilean Lakes District staying at the stunning Relais & Chateaux Hotel Vira Vira, in a breathtakingly beautiful area known for snow capped volcanoes, crisp mountain rivers, thermal springs and much more. The tour ends with a final night in Buenos Aires and an option to fly north to the stunning Iguazu Falls.
This journey perfectly blends the laid back charm of rural life, the buzz of BA and showcases South America as one of the world’s most elegant and addictive destinations!
