Finally rounding off your journey in Quito you’ll discover the modern style, ancient history and cultural of South America’s ‘capital of cool’. Along the way you’ll stay in a handpicked selection of cutting edge eco lodges, off-grid research stations and luxurious boutique hotels, all carefully selected for their uniqueness, beauty or eco credentials.

About Margaret Jones
Margaret Jones writes: ‘When I was eight, I read Born Free and my love affair with wildlife began’. Her passion was re-ignited many years later when she left the corporate world to pursue a career in conservation, working and volunteering at Werribee Open Range and Melbourne Zoos for over a decade. Tour guiding, wildlife interpretation and training hundreds of zoo guides built her knowledge of animal behaviour, biology and wildlife conservation and developed her presentation and leadership skills. Margaret is active in animal welfare and research ethics and following nine African safaris she is somewhat of an expert in international wildlife adventures! We are delighted to present her as the host of ‘Ecuadorian Wonders’.
