India is a land of riotous colour, profound spirituality, glorious heritage, diverse landscapes, tantalising cuisine and fabulous shopping, and our Jewels of Rajasthan itinerary showcases it all! Escorted by TV presenter & stylist Libby Allaway, along with the Secret Women’s Series’ founder Sarah Hoyland, you’ll journey through India’s most captivating landscapes and cities on this mesmerising feast for the senses!

Our 9 day itinerary begins with an overnight in the capital of Delhi before flying to the highly photogenic ‘blue city’ of Jodhpur where we will relax in the luxury of the stunning RAAS hotel with views of Mehrangarh Fort. Travelling to Pushkar we will attend the annual Pushkar Camel Fair - a fabulous event where we will see Indian culture at its most eccentric. Don’t miss the spectacle of the moustache competition or the camel beauty contests!

Jaipur will enchant us with its splendid palaces, breathtaking forts and eclectic bazaars and during our time here we will soak up the rich heritage staying at the beautiful, Samode Haveli, an opulent, two hundred year old townhouse in the historic walled city. As well as visiting the infamous Amber Fort and Hawa Maha (the “Palace of Winds”) this is also your opportunity to shop for India’s stunning precious stones and gems.

Travelling to Agra, the Taj Mahal will enthral at sunrise & sunset as the shimmering white marble from which it is built seems to change colour with the passing of pink sunlight and pale moonlight. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983, it remains one of the world’s most celebrated structures and a stunning symbol of India’s rich history. Returning to Delhi there will be just enough time to explore the labyrinthine old town and shop for treasures as we round out our fabulous journey.

This is diverse and colourful itinerary showcasing the very best of India's rich culture, raj heritage and modern luxury. As a one-off itinerary with limited space this journey will fill quickly. Please enquire now for further details and a full itinerary or if you would like to register your interest.

Please note: Gujurat extension - We are offering a pre-tour extension to the western state of Gujarat, home to many of India’s most fascinating tribes. Please request details if this is of interest.
