Hi, I’m Trudy Hoad – Africa Specialist, based in Perth

Slowly but surely I'm ticking all the countries in Africa off my list, I have travelled through South Africa, Kenya, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Uganda and the DRC.

My Story

Since my first visit back to Africa in the mid 1990s the continent has remained an enormous part of my identity, and I realised a dream in 2012 when I went to Zambia to manage safari camps, running from elephants each day and delighting in the changes to the flora and fauna with the seasons . Back now from my two year adventure there I am even more passionate about the African bush, and remain excited at the prospect of introducing new people to its charms, and established Africa travellers to new and as yet unexplored destinations.
