Tiger Triumph

Amidst frequent heartbreaking stories about declining numbers of the world’s wildlife there was recently a reason to celebrate in India. The latest tiger census reported a huge 30% increase in tiger numbers, from as few as 1,706 in 2011 to a record 2,226 in 2014.

Despite this increase in numbers these majestic big cats remain on the endangered species list and seeing them in their natural element is truly one of the most incredible wildlife experiences.

Take a look at our WILD INDIA SAFARI that visits three reserves renowned for tiger sightings : Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Kaziranga. Venture into these national parks in 4WD vehicles where you may also discover elusive wild dogs, one-horned rhinos and Asian elephants, along with an enormous variety of birdlife.

And before you set off on this incredible journey, and to better understand the plight of the tiger, we recommend you read Blood of the Tiger | A Story of Conspiracy Greed and the Battle to Save a Magnificent Species by J.A. Mills.
