Located between the Kalahari Desert and the Atlantic Ocean, Namibia is a place of endless deserts, towering dunes and unique desert flora and fauna.
There are plenty of highlights in this big land: Fish River Canyon is second in size and grandeur only to the Grand Canyon, while the Namib Naukluft, boasting the world's highest sand dunes, is one of the planet's largest National Parks. The Skeleton Coast enjoys a reputation of being treacherous, while the north is home to Etosha National Park and fascinating tribal peoples such as the Himba and Owamba.
Many of us at The Classic Safari Company have explored Namibia by car and this is a safe, easy and affordable option. For those who prefer to be escorted, there are a variety of lodge and cross country safaris providing excellent value for money.
