Adjacent to the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, set in 11 acres of open grassland, is the luxurious and chic Samode Safari Lodge inspired by Africa with impeccably tasteful Indian themed decor. Committed to eco-tourism the lodge has been designed and built with the lightest possible environmental footprint.

This wonderfully secluded lodge has 2 main lodges and is designed around a series of individual villas all connected via wooden walkways. The main lodge looks out over the large swimming pool, grass and woodlands. The individual villas are elegant, spacious and luxurious each with a sitting room, open-air and closed bathrooms, private terrace, sundeck with picture perfect views and all the mod cons you desire discreetly hidden away for when you need them.  Dining here is an absolute delight with a variety of venues and different daily menus – gourmet dining in the main restaurant, barbeques around a campfire, picnic lunches in the bush or by the pool and for that special romantic evening dine under the stars or in your own villa. A great wine list too!

When you’re not out game viewing, visiting the fort or on a village walk, there is a steam room and a delicious spa to indulge yourself. This is a spectacular jungle experience!
