Year round adventures
Remota is located in Patagonia, in the far south of Chile, just outside the town of Puerto Natales, the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park, and a 3 hour drive north of Punta Arenas.
The inspiration of the building comes from the Patagonian cattle ranches, somewhat tilted by the wind, all in perfect harmony with the environment and the local culture, following natural forms as if emerging from the ground. There are 72 rooms all of which are generous and airy and offer stunning views onto Last Hope Sound and the distant mountains. Remota’s dining room is an inspiring place to start the day - the walls are almost entirely glass, giving stupendous views out over the Sound. Enjoy a large buffet breakfast and a relaxed 3-course dinner. Lunch is usually enjoyed as a picnic whilst you are out exploring the Patagonian wilderness. After a day exploring retreat to one of the informal lounge areas and enjoy a pisco sour in front of a roaring fire.
Remota have designed their activity packages to suit a range of styles : soft, adventure and fly-fishing. Within each package there is a range of guided activities to enjoy. Choose from hikes, horseback rides, kayak trips, cruises and more, all led in small groups by expert guides. Remota offers trips both inside and out of Torres del Pine National Park. As well as classic hikes, you can spot condors at Cerro Benítez or hike in the Sierra Baguales. Return to a sauna, a massage or a Jacuzzi under the stars.
Remota Lodge is the perfect escape for those seeking adventure and who want to explore beyond the confines of Torres del Paine National Park.
