A Timbavati special!
Ngala Private Game Reserve is located within the Timbavati Private Game Reserve and shares an unfenced border with the renowned Kruger National Park.
There are 20 thatched cottages tucked under a dense canopy of tamboti trees at Ngala Safari Lodge. Exuding classical safari charm, the spacious veranda, with its wonderfully comfortable armchairs, looks out onto a popular waterhole with plentiful wildlife passing by. Breakfast and lunch are served in the shade of an enormous weeping boerebean tree and the walled courtyard provides a sheltered space to indulge in sumptuous cuisine, while the boma creates a dramatic setting for fire-lit dinners. When you are not on safari, enjoy a refreshing dip and relax by the pool.
Ngala’s highly trained rangers and trackers conduct twice daily game drives—early morning and late afternoon/evening, in open 4x4 safari vehicles. In between game drives, guests can take leisurely guided bush walks to take in the intimate details of their surroundings, from the intricate patterns of a spiders’ web to the bright plumage of the local birds and sharp alarm calls of small creatures.
Ngala Private Game Reserve will surprise you with its incredible inhabitants great and small.
