Mwaleshi Camp, located in the remote North Luangwa National Park, is situated 10km from the Mwaleshi and Luangwa river confluence. The beauty of the North Luangwa is its wilderness, remoteness and the feeling that you are alone in the untamed heart of nature.

The focus whilst in the North Luangwa is walking and exploring the area by foot. The camp is raw and rustic and the experience unique to Africa. All walking activities are hosted by an experienced guide and armed National Park scout, allowing you to enjoy the freedom of Africa’s vastness on foot. Guests may catch glimpses of hyaena hunting puku in the shallow waters of Mwaleshi, enjoy impressive herds of buffalo coming in for their daily drinks, whilst the large number of resident lion keep an eye on their prey. A highlight is undoubtedly walking barefoot through the shallow waters of the Mwaleshi.

The camp offers a combination of beauty, natural surroundings, exceptional game, excellent cuisine and an intimate setting.
