The Taj Mahal is a highlight, but India boasts many other archaeological,historical and cultural wonders. In Mumbai you will witness the famous ‘dhobi wallahs’ washermen and marvel at the organisation of the ’tiffin wallahs’ before taking a ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ tour through Dharavi. In the ‘Blue City’ of Jodhpur you will explore the imposing Mehrangarh Fort and glimpse rural Rajasthani life visiting a Bishnoi Village. In the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur you will visit the impressive Amber Fort and be entranced by the bustling bazaars. The Taj Mahal will enthral with its myriad colours at sunrise and sunset and a final shopping foray and exploration of Old Delhi will draw your fabulous journey to a close.

Day 2 | 13 Nov :  Mumbai touring | Visit the Dadar Flower and Fish Market and guided visit to the Dharavi Slum
Day 3 | 14 Nov :  Witness the open‐air laundry known as the dhobi‐ghats and the collation & distribute of lunch boxes by the tiffin‐wallahs, a guided shopping & historical walking tour of Mumbai with the famous Colaba Causeway
Day 4 | 15 Nov : Fly to Jodhpur (1hr40m), visit a step well, time for R&R | RAAS | 2 nights
Day 5 | 16 Nov : Jodhpur touring to include Mehrangarh Fort, optional afternoon visit to Bishnoi village, time at leisure and rooftop sundowners with stunning views
Day 6 | 17 Nov : Transfer by road from Jodhpur to Jaipur watching rural Rajasthan pass by | Samode Haveli | 2 nights
Day 7 | 18 Nov : Jaipur touring to include the 'Palace of the Winds', elephants at Amber Fort and a spot of retail therapy
Day 8 | 19 Nov : Travel by road from Jaipur to Agra. Explore Agra's forts and tombs before witnessing sunset at the Taj Mahal | ITC Mughal Hotel | 1 night
Day 9 | 20 Nov : Watch the sun rise over the Taj Mahal and dress up in saris for an optional Bollywood photo shoot. Visit the Wildlife SOS elephant conservation centre then continue to Delhi | Haveli Dharampura | 2 nights
Day 10 | 21 Nov : Explore Delhi with a qualified guide visiting New Delhi. Humyan's Tomb and Khan Market. Shop for fabrics and homewares.
Day 11 | 22 Nov: See Old Delhi by ricksshaw, visit Jama Masjid - the Friday Mosque -and explore the winding alleys of Chandi Chowk. The journey will end this evening and you will be free continue with your own arrangments or begin your journey home.
